John Kerfoot (1884-1945)

Joseph’s brother John, born in 1884, similarly followed both to his father and brother becoming an iron moulder with the firm. In 1905, presumably having completed his apprenticeship, he married Nellie Allen, the daughter of George and Hannah, who was born in Lincoln on 24th September, 1884 but at the time of her marriage, was living with her parents in Queen’s Road, Loughborough[1]. Following their marriage, they moved to No. 15, Cumberland Road, remaining there for five or six years[2]. John died in Loughborough, on 22nd October 1945, aged 61 and Nellie fifteen years later, aged 75.
