Pipe Coils and Pipe Coil Cases

In their simplest form pipe coils were lengths of standard 2, 3 or 4in. heating pipes of the same length connected at each end so as to allow water to flow through the pipes form one end to the other. There were numerous configurations from a single row of pipes upto three rows and from six pipes upto 30 or more. Each end being specific to the configuration of pipes required and typically rather plain, although ornamental pipes and ends was available.
